Such a beautiful, cozy spot to have a healthy Carribean vegtetarian meal! Includes fresh veggies, curry, potatoes, seitan and basmati rice. Delicious and filling.

SO so good! Looked for a vegan place to eat and stumbled on this place. Wow, the portions are so generous for how much you pay and it fills you up! Everything was spiced perfectly, i am so sad that I don’t live here because i would come weekly if I could!

This is the first meal i am having on January 1st 2023The hospitality, the energy in the room is amazing here, I ordered a large box filled with a little bit of everything! Very Good.Great way to start my year.

I had tried visiting this place a few months in the past month and realized their hours, but it was well worth the wait! I loved the food and atmosphere of this place. It was quite busy when I arrived with people coming and going and once I tried the food, I can see why. You can tell they are hard workers with this business to put out some special food here. My girlfriend and I ended up getting the large box meal (It had a little bit of everything) Highly recommend if you're in the Kensington area. It is a laid back place just on the outside of the busy part of the area which I like a lot.

When I visited Veggie D’Light I was embraced by a cozy atmosphere with lovely music, warm and friendly staff and a view of the open kitchen from the seating area. It was all very nice and inviting, but the moment I tasted my first spoonful of the soup of the day I knew I was in for a real treat! It was French Lentil and it was so flavourful and delicious and served piping hot! Following the soup I had a large plate of the most amazing vegan, gluten free Caribbean food I’ve ever had. It included a supreme curry that was also so beautifully flavourful and delicious, Moringa loaf, brown basmati rice with flax and quinoa, steamed organic greens, steamed squash and it was topped with a fresh organic salad. The flavours were out of this world. The good feeling I had from being at this restaurant and from enjoying all the wonderful happy food was memorable. It made my whole day amazing. I can’t wait to visit again. I’ve already recommended to all my friends. Bravo Chef Peter and all the wonderful staff at Veggie D’Light.

It’s GIVING 10 out of 10. Honestly y’all the food was soooooooooooooooo good. Like let me say it again. Excellent! The colors, the flavors, my taste buds felt like they were back in Jamaica. Everything tasted. Fresh (which I love). Ital good for the win xx I used the TooGoodToGo app to secure my meal and it was one of the best things I’ve done for my self. Myyy goodness. The atmosphere of the restaurant was inviting, felt very homey cafe like you were so happy to be in that space cuz the energy was great. Staff was so friendly.

Was looking for Ital Vital but sadly they left Kensington. Found this wonderful gem and they did not disappoint The chef truly cooks from the heart and his love shows in his food. Thoroughly enjoyed my meal, jerk seitan was on point and my veggies were done to perfection. So delicious! Will definitely be back soon.

This is the best vegan restaurant I have eaten in my entire life!I am totally a meat lover, but after I had the first bite, I am so mad cuz it is too delicious to stop eating. I finished the meal with anger and tears . Idk what I’m eating but it is just so good. The vegetables have a perfect balance between it original sweetness and flavor from the seasoning. The curry- like ( made with chickpeas and potatoes) stuff is absolutely packed with flavor, and it literally makes me wanna cry. When I enter the restaurant, the smell of spices indicates this will be an unusual meal. And it turns out it is.The portion is incredibly huge, even though I usually eat more than one portion of food in other restaurants, this meal totally made me satisfied.No matter if you are vegan or not, just go and try it right away please.( super friendly service and exotic vibe )
